Conscious Consulting provides system administration, technical management/planning, and technical support services to select businesses and nonprofit organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area. We do everything from individual computer first-aid to full-scale, end-to-end network management. We work extensively with all major operating systems, and specialize in creative solutions for mixed-platform environments.
It's no accident that we are based in Berkeley. Our progressive politics are an integral part of how we do business. We are dedicated to serving progressive nonprofit organizations, and have knowledge of their particular needs rooted in years of experience. We also pride ourselves on our interpersonal approach. We will want to get to know you, laugh with you, and enjoy working together--this is important to us.
We keep twenty or so clients at a time, providing regular, ongoing service over years. We are highly selective about new clients, only taking them on if we feel certain we can provide them with superior service and sufficient availability within the matrix of our existing commitments. We will be very flexible for you, and ask that you be flexible for us. Flexibility is of particular importance to us, because "we," incidentally, are one person.
If you are a nonprofit organization, we offer a sliding scale, based on the organization's annual budget. This sliding scale ranges from $65 to $95/hr. If you are a commercial organization, we charge $125/hr.
